Film study 2020

When we have finished watching the movie we had a task that tells us about what work we need to do. We have to 2 tasks to choose from and those are,  The first task that we had to do is create a mind map that shows as many examples from our visual text of one of the themes listed. The second one is Write a theme guide booklet for a student to use whilst viewing. You have to explain how each theme is shown in the film and gives them times to stop and look, quotes and key moment to watch for.

The theme was...

"Be careful what you wish for"

"Looks can be deceiving"

"Be grateful with what you have"

"Don't judge a book by its cover"

The theme that I chose is Looks can be deceiving, I had picked that because sometimes you don't really know if that person is kind or bad, we shall not judges quickly because sometimes they can help us in life.

What am I learning? What I'm learning is Analyse the ideas and themes of a film.

How does this work show my learning? This shows my learning by discussing the way a theme or idea is portrayed in the text.

What am I wondering as a result of this learning? What I'm wondering as a result of this learning is that I have taught you some things by just looking in 4 of the themes.
