Coralin, Film study

 For this task on inside and out, we have watched a movie called Coraline she is a little girl that found a secret door in the house they were living. When Caroline found out that there was a secret door in the house, she starts begging her mum for the key. When Caroline open the door there was a tunnel leading to her other parents. I have chosen 2 characters in the film and explain them to you in good detail.

What am I learning? I am learning how to understand the characters developed in a film. 

How does this work show my learning? This shows my learning by explaining how a character portrayed using a specific example from the text. 

What am I wondering as a result of this learning? I am wondering to get a high mark.

Bones in the hands- Hurumanu 2

Last week in science we have been learning how do hands work, we made a hand to show you how it works. The hand has lots of parts which are Bones, Joints, Muscles, Tendons, and ligaments. These are all the parts that make your hand move. Bones is really helpful for us human because it helps us provide support. 

How do hands work? The movements of the hand are always started by the muscles in your forearm. Hands have a lot of things that help human beings one is we use our hand to write or hold something that is heavy or not. 

The human hand is made up of the wrist, palm, and fingers and has 27 bones, 27 joints, 34 muscles, and over 100 ligaments, and tendons, and many blood vessels and nerves.

This week for Film Studies we have been mainly focusing on Camera techniques and different shots that are used in most of the movies or series we watch. To show my learning on this I decided to make it on a slideshow so that you guys can also learn something as well. Film Study Dictionary.

Body Language: 
Body Language is used in the film to convey meaning in a narrative context. It is also used to show how the image is moving and how different body expression can appear in different media. 

Costumes: 
Costumes are used to help actors transform into a new and believable character. 

Hairstyles: 
Hairstyles are almost related to costumes because it’s just the way of turning the person into a new character.

Make-up: 
Make-up is used in the film to enhance the actor’s personality or mood.

Colour: 
Colour is how they make the image colorful, dynamic, and beautiful. 

Lighting: 
Lighting is used in the film to create a visual effect meaning the audience knows where to look. 

Props:
 Props make it more realistic and interesting to watch. 

Settings: 
The setting is often used in the film to show and describe the surroundings.

Dialogue:  
Dialogue is used to make tell a spoken line by a character, it can also be used between real people and fictional characters.

Sound effects: 
Sound effects are used in the film to help deliver important messages. 

Music: 
Music helps people to understand the film and describe a continuous film. 

Silence: 
Silence is used to create a serious mood. 

Symbols: 
Symbols are used to recommend a new Design to do. 

Special FX:
 Special FX helps the creator to make better control.
