This week on community impact project we have to find out what seed can we plant this autumn season. We have to search for 6 different types of seed and it needs to grow in autumn. We have to plant the seed in our school garden so that when people forget they're food they can just get one to two vegetable to eat.
All the vegetable that were gonna plant in the school garden is gonna be fine even when it's winter time.
This is us eating Plum in our school garden. It was really delicious because it was sweet and a little bit sour. If you look at my friends face, they're so happy because it was very delicious. |
Pak choi You can harvest the young leaves after 30 days, to add to salads. From 45 days, the plants should have developed a 'heart' and be ready to harvest for stir fries. |
Onion Green onions can be ready in 20 to 30 days after planting. Dry bulb onions can take 100 to 175 days to reach maturity. |
Broad Beans hey require 80 to 100 days to reach harvest. |
Kale germination will take about 10 days |
Beetroot Harvesting. Depending on variety, beetroot is ready to be picked when the roots are between the size of a golf ball and a tennis ball - this is usually 90 days after sowing. |
Peas Peas are ready to harvest in approximately 60-70 days. |
I chose this seed because all of them are good even when it's winter time. One of my favourite vegetable seed that were gonna plant is broccoli because it tastes very Delightful. I'm really excited next week because I think that we're gonna start planting the seed.
Hey Lars i am happy you have an interest for planting a seeds. It will be good to our environment and also it help us to become healthy after the seeds will grow and becomes a fruits .
