Dissolving Experiemt

Aim: See if salt or baking soda dissolves more. 

Hypothesis: I think that salt will dissolve faster than baking soda because Ionic mixtures dissolve faster in water because their relationship is much stronger.

Equipment: A 200 ml becker, 100 ml measuring cylinder salt, baking soda, a string rod, a teaspoon, and a ruler.

Method:

1. Fill the beaker with 1oo ml of topwater.

2. Add a level teaspoon of baking soda. A level teaspoon is obtained by running your ruler across the edge of the teaspoon.

3. Stir the solution until all of the baking soda has dissolved.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until no more baking soda will dissolve into the solution.

5. Record how many teaspoons of baking soda was added.

6.  Repeat the experiment, with table salt.

Result: 

Solute	A number of teaspoons that dissolve in 100 ml of water.
Baking soda	1 giant teaspoon
Table salt	A level teaspoon

Discussion:
When we were mixing the Baking soda we suddenly notice that it was not dissolving, we've done something wrong, we put I giant tablespoon in but we have to measure the baking soda with a ruler that why when we were mixing it was taking too long. The second experiment that we did was mixing a table salt, the table salt experiment was better than the last experiment that we did. Because now we actually measure the right amount for it, so when we mixed it the table salt it dissolves faster than the baking soda.

Conclusion: 
My hypothesis was right, I knew that the salt will dissolve faster because the faster you stir the faster it will dissolve the particles. 

Home economic tour/ Savory Bread Cases

My impression in the room

When I first went inside the room it was a little bit cold, it is also bright. all the equipment was super tidy.


Here are some of the equipment that they have in that home economics room.

So today in food tech we are told to make a Savory bread, Savory bread cases are so easy to make and it is yummy.

Ingredients:

• White bread
• wholemeal bread
• bake beans
• canned spaghetti 
• Cheese
• Ham

All we have to do was turn on the oven and turn it to 180 degrees. The second method that we did was gather all the ingredients in the table, After gathering all the ingredients in the table we were told to hold the bread in all the corner and put it on the muffin trays. Once you finish putting the ingredients on the bread we have to put it in the oven until golden brown. After a few minutes, the Savory bread cases is finished. Time to enjoyed.  

The Best Of The Summer Holiday

In the summer holiday, the first thing that I did was take a rest and that was the best thing ever that happen to my life. I didn't need to wake up early in the morning for school. Most of the time I've spent my summer holiday just staying at home playing games. We didn't go far on the summer holiday because we don't have a plan for it. It was the next day, I didn't want to get out of bed yet because I was enjoying my summer holiday. But the sun was reflecting my eye, so I said to myself self "Fine I'll just get up". 

 A whole week had fast and I and my friend had a great plan, we all decided if wanted to have a sleepover. The sleepover was the best summer holiday, we were all laughing the whole day. Our sleepover plan was on Friday last year, we all met up at a fast-food restaurant (Burgerking). Kyle and Christian were the first one in there, it was really hot that time and the sun were sunny bright. If you don't know who Khyle and Christian are well Christian was the house owner of the house we are sleeping over at, and Khyle is one of my best friends that is gonna go also in the sleepover. 

After a few minutes, the person who we were waiting for arrives, his name is Vann, Vann is also one of my best friends he's favorite sport is basketball. It was Friday afternoon when he comes, We were all hungry at that time. I was like "Do you guys wanna eat here, we're already here in a fast-food restaurant why don't we just eat here", And they said yeah sure lets just et here".

One hour had fast all of us has finish eating, we all decided to go home and watch a movie. We were tired at that time after we watched the movie some of us just take a nap for a few hours then wake up again to play some games on our phones. 

The next day we have to go back home because our sleepover was finished, we're all happy at the end of the day and we are waiting for the 2-week vacation this year so that maybe we can do another sleepover.

Athletics

On March 3rd our school is having an athletics day. Before athletics, On P.E we are training to do the how-to high jump and how to throw a discus. The first thing that we did in P.E was, how to throw a discus. Our P.E class went out to the field and we started throwing the discus, our teacher in p.e said that if you are gonna throw a discus you have to put your index finger in a 12 o'clock. After doing the discus we went back inside the gym and set up the high jumo equipment. My class lines up into four group and we started jumping one by one, that was really fun.
 

Creative Writing

There's a house with trees surrounding it. If you look at the top you will see a glazing blue sky follow by dark green island. There is a lot of boat above the sparkling blue water which I think costs a lot of money. I'm looking at the houses that were surrounded by trees, It looks like that mountain on the side is about to collapse.  

I am living with my family, I have 2 brothers and a mum and dad. Every weekend we like to camp at the edge of the mountain but not really close to it because we might fall when the rock collapse. I was just eating my lunch when the blue water reflects in my eye, I call one of my brothers to let them see what was reflecting my eye. When he comes beside me he said that is really beautiful to look at it. 

We like to camp at the very top of the mountain but at night it is really cold. It is like a freezer with extra ice on it. The coldness feels like frozen chilled snow because you can't feel your whole body. We also like to do hiking in the middle of the morning, but yesterday we forgot our water.

But luckily we always bring about 5 blankets every time so that the coldness would not affect us. When we were hiking two days ago we forgot to bring our water, all of us were very exhausted and tired. But luckily we saw a waterfall in the way of our destination. We were so happy that we saw a waterfall because we were about to fall in the ground.

Activity 1: The social network

For this activity, please think about what you have learned in class about being cybersmart.

From what I have learned in cyber smart is that we are not allowed to share some photos of our friends if we don't have permission from them. I also learned that you are not allowed to say someone else full name or your full name because if they know your full name some people will try to search your name on any web site, there a chance that you can get stalk. You also need to make a good choice of what you are doing on the internet. Another thing that I learned from cyber smart is that you are not allowed to make your own account on facebook unless you are 14 or above. 

On your blog provide five rules that people should follow when sharing pictures and/or streaming videos online.

Rules for the people that need to follow:

1. Don't share photos if you don't have any formation from them.

2. Never give your personal information to someone that you don't know.

3. Don't share your password with anyone even your family.

4. Try not to accept a friend request on any website, only accept them if you know them.

5. Don't access inappropriate or illegal material.

Summer learning journey

Day 1,
Activity 3: Big Friendly Giants

On your blog, write a character description of the Big Friendly Giant that includes at least 10 descriptive words and a picture that you have drawn of the BFG. You could describe what he looks, smells, and sounds like, and tell your readers all about his personality.


Big friendly giant is really tall, he looks like someone that is homeless. BFG is really kind to others he had the humor of being kind. He doesn't like to be seen, His enemy is those huge bad giant. BFG helps the soldier to get reed of the bad giant.  The Big friendly giant keeps a lot of good dreams, he put the dreams to people who are having a bad dream.  

For this activity, please listen to David Walliams, a famous British actor, and comedian, reading a short clip from the BFG. In this clip, the BFG is talking to a young girl, Sophie, about one of his favorite hobbies. After listening to the clip, what do you think the BFG looks like? 

From what I have heard in the clip the BFG has a dream with a different level on it, my guess is that he uses those dreams to change other people's bad dreams. He might look like a very tall person with big ears and a white beard. The BFG likes to keep the dream in a bowl, Those dreams have different color and shape.
